Terms of Service
The ground rules for working together. Your project proposal always sets the specifics; this page covers everything around it.
Last updated: 1 August 2026
1. Service agreement
Zyntriax provides web design, development, phone app development and related digital services. Each project is governed by its own written proposal, which sets out the scope, timeline and deliverables. Where this page and a signed proposal disagree, the proposal wins.
2. Quotes and payment
Every project is quoted individually and the price is agreed in writing before work begins. Unless the proposal says otherwise, a deposit is payable to reserve your start date, with the balance due on completion or launch. Work paused or cancelled by the client after it has begun is charged for the stage reached.
3. Revisions
Reasonable revisions are included before launch, as set out in your proposal, so the delivered work matches what was agreed. Requests that change the agreed scope, such as extra pages, new features or a fresh design direction, are quoted separately before any additional work starts.
4. Domain, hosting and ownership
Your domain is registered in your name and remains yours throughout and after the engagement. Zyntriax hosts, maintains and operates the site itself as part of the service, so the hosting environment and the underlying build remain ours unless a separate handover is agreed in writing. Content you supply stays yours, and third-party components keep their own licences. Zyntriax may show the work in its portfolio and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to.
5. Phone app projects
App builds are published to the App Store and Google Play under your own developer accounts, so the listings stay yours. Apple and Google charge their own developer fees and review every submission against their guidelines. We prepare and submit the build, but neither we nor you control whether or how quickly a store approves it.
6. If you leave
You can stop at any time. Your domain is yours to take with you, and we will point it wherever you ask at no charge. Because hosting and the build sit with us, the live site itself does not transfer automatically; if you want it migrated to your own hosting, ask and we will quote the handover.
7. Third-party services and fees
Some projects rely on outside services such as hosting, domains, payment processing, email delivery or app store accounts. Their fees are billed by those providers, are not included in the project quote unless stated, and are subject to their own terms and uptime.
8. Your responsibilities
You provide content, feedback and approvals in reasonable time, and confirm you hold the rights to any text, images or trademarks you supply. Delays in your input move the delivery date accordingly, and we will tell you when that happens rather than let a date quietly slip.
9. Support after launch
We fix defects in work we delivered, free of charge, for 30 days after launch. Ongoing updates, changes and monitoring beyond that are covered by a separate care plan, which is rolling monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
10. Limitation of liability
Zyntriax is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profit or lost data, arising from the use of our services or the performance of what we build. Our total liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute falls to the courts of England and Wales.
